These are standard headshots for acting and commercial auditions. If you are interested in a PR photoshoot, or images for other purposes including (but not limited to) publication, please arrange a separate consultation in advance of your session, as more complex imagery requires a greater amount of planning and production value.

DEPOSIT - When you make a booking, we will retain a $200 non-refundable deposit which holds your appointment date and time. The balance of your session will be due at the end of your photoshoot session. We accept Paypal with a 3% added fee, Cash, and checks (at least two weeks in advance.)
RESCHEDULING. As long as you provide us with 2 business days (48 hours) advance notice, we can reschedule your shoot for the next available opening. Business days are Monday - Friday. Rescheduling with less than 2-business days (48 hours) notice is considered a cancellation and your deposit is forfeit. If you do reschedule, your rescheduled appointment must be within 3 months of the original session date. One rescheduling exception with 2-business days notice is allowed, however a second rescheduling is considered a cancellation and will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. We understand that situations can arise that are out of your immediate control, but there are No Exceptions to this policy.
IF WE NEED TO RESCHEDULE. If for some reason we need to reschedule the date/time of your shoot, we will make suitable alternative arrangements to the best of our ability. In the event that such arrangements are not agreeable, you have the option to request a full refund of your deposit.
WEATHER DELAYS. We generally prepare for a variety of sunny and cloudy conditions when shooting outdoors, but occasionally, the weather is inhospitable to the point where it's best to reschedule. On indoor or studio shoots with natural light as the primary lighting source, a dark and stormy day may also lead to rescheduling. We will make our best efforts to accommodate your needs under these circumstances, however, some things are beyond our control.
LATE ARRIVALS. If you're late for your shoot, this will result in less camera time and fewer images/looks as we may have a client coming after you. If you're more than 45 minutes late, this is considered a cancellation and will result in the forfeiture of your $200 deposit.
CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOWS: If your forget about your session, cancel, or don't show, your deposit is forfeit.
IMAGE EDITING AND REVIEW: We will edit and process your images as soon as practicable, and generally within 3 working days of the shoot. At that time, we will post the preliminary images for your review via a private link.
RETOUCHING. Retouching is optional and not included with your shoot fee. We can provide high-end and realistic magazine quality retouching on an hourly rate basis depending on your requirements. Minor blemish removal and slight adjustments may also be included at no cost.
We believe that good retouching is like good plastic surgery. If it is obviously retouched, that's bad! Ultimately, it's your image, and it's your call. We can provide unretouched files if you prefer to use a retoucher of your own choosing.
PRINTING & PRINT QUALITY: We are not printers, but we are happy to refer you to labs that can assist you with duplicating images, printing, and making proof sheets.
PARENTS OF YOUNG CLIENTS: For any clients under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian is required to be present at all times. However, we do not allow parents or guardians to enter the shooting area or to stand in the client's eye-line. That distracts the subject, and it distracts the photographer.
ARTISTIC COMPOSITION: Thomas Reiner has been a professional portrait and celebrity magazine photographer for 25 years, and hopefully takes interesting, creative, and aesthetically composed photographs. His approach is not cookie-cutter, so if you have a specific aesthetic in mind, show him some examples in advance of your session. His goal is to make unique images of unique people and capture authenticiy in a person. He has a definite approach to shooting that is clearly reflected in his online portfolio, magazine work, and promotional material.
RE-SHOOTS & REFUNDS. Photographs are artistic creations. Interpretation of artistic creations is extremely subjective. Because of this, there are no re-shoots or refunds other than for technical failures or malfunctions where the client does not receive technically proficient images in clear focus within a proper exposure range.
