Thomas Reiner has photographed celebrity magazine editorials and fashion/beauty layouts for nearly 25 years. His images have appeared in countless international publications including Vogue, W, Harper’s Bazaar, British Cosmopolitan, Elle, InStyle, Maxim, Grazia, Amica, and numerous others. A long list of well over 100 celebrity clients includes Charlize Theron, Kate Hudson, Kurt Russell, Kelly Preston, Jet Li, Billy Zane, Milla Jovovich, Steve Buscemi, Jim Caviezel, Kelly LeBrock ......
Reiner grew up near Boston, Massachusetts on Cape Cod. He received his first commission to shoot Rose and Ted Kennedy in Hyannisport at a young age. By 1997 he was a regular contributer to various magazines and operated a studio in Venice, CA and later in Culver City. Since that time, Reiner has spent much of his time traveling back and forth to Europe and South America.
When shooting professional headshots, he utilizes his extensive experience and directing ability to create compelling images of his subjects. Reiner prefers not to create cookie-cutter headshots that all look alike. That would be easier but less productive when trying to succeed in such a competitive industry as the entertainment business. He can recreate the look and lighting style of almost any reference image and then apply his extensive expertise to give his clients the best possible results.
